This tutorial will be very beneficial to people new to online marketing, but also a very good philosophy for anyone involved in MLM and interested in using Attraction Marketing principles for sponsoring, instead of hard-selling tactics.

Alicia talks about her extreme fear of the phone and fear of calling people about her business opportunity.  She knew if she wanted to succeed in network marketing she had to overcome this.  “The Consultative Approach” is an excellent answer to anyone who can relate to this.  I know I can!

I used to be petrified of calling prospects when I was using “old” MLM selling-from-a-script tactics.  I think Alicia was in the room with me because she describes it perfectly–I would do most of the talking (reading from a script), a little listening, and I’d get to the end of the script and ask them to buy, sign up, and get started!  No wonder people were turned off and I never heard from them again.

If you can relate to this or if you’ve ever tried this, you need to check out this video.  Alicia does a role play of how she works with people on the phone now.  This format could be used for recruiting/sponsoring or selling products.  This is a very powerful way to communicate with people.  It goes hand in hand with attraction marketing and all the things we love about it–attracting people to us rather than chasing them down.

If you are here to build a business, you can afford Renegade Professional. Any business has advertising costs. Back in the old days, when I put fliers on cars, the fliers probably cost me $40-50 for the copies at the copy store. Then I got to spend 3-5 hours A DAY putting them on cars! Good times! Buying signs were $100-200, then nailing them to posts, hours in the car, driving around pounding them in the ground. Buying “packages” to send out to people, buying leads, all the old ways were so expensive in time and money. Thank goodness those days are over.

One of the great things about Mike K. and Professional is that most of the things taught are free or under $10. So do-able for average people on a budget. It’s so much more duplicatable than leads, signs & fliers!

Another great thing Mike teaches and the beauty of the internet is true leverage. It would take me 5 hours to do 1000 fliers, then they were gone. I had to do it again the next day. Even buying leads…once you call them all, you’re done. You have to buy more. When I build a squidoo page, have followers on twitter, or post to my blog–that marketing is there FOREVER. People can meet me, learn from me, contact me, buy from me 24/7. While I’m playing with my kids, eating dinner with my husband or sleeping. That is true leverage. That is the type of business you want to have.

I tell my team and new people I talk to that this is a business you can do forever. You won’t get burnt out. You don’t have to suffer through a 90-Day Plan. It’s fun. It’s valuable. It’s sustainable. It’s real. I love it and I wouldn’t do anything else ever again!

When I say to my (50-something) sponsor, “Open two windows on your computer,” I may as well be talking Chinese. Or “Find a hosting account for your blog and transfer your domain name from GoDaddy to your hosting account.” Huh?!? People (maybe you?) can get stuck on that for days! Or…you can join Renegade Professional and have Mike hold your hand and take you click-by-click (“First click on this, then drag this here, then push OK”) through seemingly complicated tasks. For someone who only sends email, those things may seem impossible.  They are tasks average people never need to learn and can take days to figure out.  Now, if you have the desire to build an online business, you can learn how.

People are looking for opportunities right now and they’re looking for leaders to follow. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing MLM, affiliate marketing, or any other online business.  If you position yourself on the internet in the next few days or months, you can be in front of people who are looking and help them get started. Position yourself now and have leads calling you in the next 1 to 3 months.

Trust me–people will still be looking for opportunities 1 to 3 months from now! Or however long it takes you.  But don’t waste time.  Don’t do it later.  Do it now.

Like Jim Rohn says, “If you don’t like where you are, change it! You’re not a tree.”
